We are Alexander and Alexandra (Alex and Alex), official tour guides in Romania. After a couple of years of volunteering, guiding international guests and high officials, we found the passion to present to people the real beauty of our country. We decided to start Romanian Treasures in 2013 at the recommendation of our friends who came to visit us from all over the world.
Our main goal is to make our travelers happy, and present to them the real story of our country. Nothing will make us happier than to see someone smiling and falling in love with Romania. We continue to travel, discover new cultures, meet new people, and make new friends from all over the world.
AirBnb - Night At Dracula's Castle in Transylvania
We are proud to have been part of this amazing event, held inside Bran Castle, along with Airbnb and Dacre Stoker - Great Grand-Nephew of Bram Stoker. The event was part of a contest which had 88.000 contestants and only one winner. The prize was unique - a chance to sleep in Bran Castle for a night - for the first time in over 70 years. For this reason, more than 1000 different press articles were released all over the world.

It was a great opportunity to meet Prince Charles of Wales, a great promoter of Romanian Tourism who holds a lot of love for Romania's culture, traditions and people.
His house in Viscri Village is also the headquarters of the Prince of Wales Foundation, also serving as training center for traditional crafts and rural skills, to help secure a livelihood in Romania’s villages.
The foundation holds weaving workshops and traditional restoration sessions, as well as agriculture classes. Prince Charles don't miss any opportunity to visit Romania.
